Spicy Suya Grilled Cheese
INGREDIENTS:
SUYA | GRILLED CHEESE |
1/2lb flank steak | 2 slices sourdough bread |
2 1/2 tbsp suya pepper | 4 slices pepper jack cheese |
1/2 tbsp olive oil | butter |
- Slice flank steak thinly, coat with olive oil, and then season generously with yaji spice
- Cook flank steak in a cast iron pan
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and place on a grill pan over low-medium heat
- Add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each slice of bread (to the non-buttered side)
- Add cooked suya on top of the cheese
- Shred the last 2 slices of cheese and top each side of suya with more pepper jack cheese
- Combine both sides of the sandwich and grill until the cheese is fully melted
